Anna Maria Anders was born in 1950 in London, England. Her mother, Renata Bogdanska was a popular singer during World War II. Her father general Anders was a famous command-in chief, who saved over 120,000 soldiers and their families from captivity in the Soviet Union in 1942 by way of Iran, and Palestine. He had commanded (1943-1945) the legendary 2nd Polish Corps during the Allied campaign in Italy at which time that Corps won singular distinction in May 1944 for its successful assault against entrenched German forces in the Benedictine Monastery a top Monte Cassino in Italy.
In 1983 she graduated from the University of Bristol (England) with major in romance languages. She had worked in France (UNESCO), United Nations and in many countries around the globe. In 1989 she graduated from Boston University with MBA degree. Elected to the Polish Senate on March 6, 2016.
