PROGRAMS
The Polish Cultural Foundation is located in Clark Township, New Jersey on 3.5 acres of property. It consists of over 40 000 square feet of floor space in 3 interconnected buildings containing office, classroom, meeting, program and storage facilities within each building. There is also a large capacity auditorium.
It is the home of the Skulski Art Gallery exhibiting local, national and internationally renowned artists and domiciles the Marjanczyk Library having over 15,000 books and publications for ethnic research or reading in Polish or English languages.
Endowments from the Estates of Lubomir and Irena Zabilski, Joseph S. Rozanski, Irena and Mieczyslaw Niznik Haloha allows the Foundation's Scholarship Fund to annually distribute $2,000 Scholarships in their name to deserving undergraduates.
It administers:
- an Evening Studies Program featuring Polish language courses
- art and music instruction as well as Fencing and Martial Arts instruction.
Its classrooms accommodate 700 students, preschool and grades 0 thru 11 in ethnic studies of language, history, geography, music, culture and heritage. This program is widely known as Polish Supplementary School.
In addition, a variety of personal enrichment groups, professional seminars, bi-lingual classic, contemporary and historical video presentations occur continuously. Annually, it hosts numerous concerts, lectures, social and ethnic commemorative and heritage events.
