SCULPTURE SPRINGS TO LIFE

The Skulski Art Gallery of the Polish Cultural Foundation will present works of sculptors of Riker Hill Art Park from May 1st to 12th , 2015. 

The opening reception will take place on
Friday, May 1st, 8:00-10:00 p.m. and will include refreshments. 

The artists will present their original work.  Sculptures by the award winning artists can be found in collections throughout the country.  Their training includes the techniques and methods of the old masters and currently they are studying under the guidance of Ivan Bratko.  Ivan is a Ukrainian born master artist with works in museums and galleries throughout the world.  Included in the show are clay sculptures created in sessions with live models and stone sculptures inspired by the imagination of the artists.  The artists will be present to answer questions about their inspiration and technique. 
Spring is a time of beauty and what better way to celebrate it than with the beauty of sculpture.
