Skulski Gallery Featuring Three Men Photographic Show

The Skulski Art Gallery of the Polish Cultural Foundation in Clark, New Jersey is pleased to present a photographic show featuring works of three outstanding photographers: JAN BOGDANSKI, FREDERICK DAMMONT and ROMAN DEMKO from May 11 to 31, 2012.

The Skulski Art Gallery of the Polish Cultural Foundation in Clark, New Jersey is pleased to present a photographic show featuring works of three outstanding photographers: JAN BOGDANSKI, FREDERICK DAMMONT and ROMAN DEMKO fromMay 11 to 31, 2012.

Please join us at the opening reception on Friday, May 11, 8-10 p.m.  The public is welcome, admission is free and refreshments will be served.  An added attraction for the opening will be a short performance by Robert Argasinski, a 13 year old piano virtuoso and student of Sophia Agranovich  Julliard School graduate.

Jan Bogdanski – studied the Arts and Sciences at Clark University in Worcester, MA graduating with a degree in Psychology.  After teaching for a short period of time he was published twice in the “Best of Photography” (1989 and 1990). 

Weekly meetings at the Cranford Camera Club maintained his interest in taking pictures.  More recently Jan has had photographs reviewed by the National Gallery in Washington, D.C. and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.  Jan’s talent was passed on from his ancestry in Poland where several of his relatives were artists, mainly painters.

Frederick Dammont – professional physicist and award-winning amateur photographer is veteran of over fifty solo and numerous group print shows.  His preferred medium are 35mm color slides, which he uses for the presentation of photographic essays reflection the more photogenic nature, cultural or aesthetic aspects, characteristic for the geographic areas visited in the course of his world-wide travels.  In the impressionist mode, Dammont uses extensively color as a basic part of hi compositions.

Roman Demko – born in Lviv, Ukraine.  Architect by profession, photographer by passion since 1975.  Mr. Demko graduated from Lviv Polytechnics, Institute of Architecture.  For many years he is holding a position as Interior Designer of Sacred Architecture for Rambusch Company.  Exhibited his photograph8ic work at Ukrainian Cultural Center in Philadelphia, PA in 1999, Fleet Bank, Jersey City, NJ in 2001, Skulski Art Gallery , Clark, NJ in 2002 and 2009 and in Watchung Center, NJ in 2005.



The Polish Cultural Foundation, non-profit organization is located at 177 Broadway, Clark, New Jersey, just of exit 135 from GSP. The Skulski Art Gallery is open Monday – Friday 5:00 – 9:00 p.m.  To visit the show please contact Karolina at PCF office at 732-382-7197, after 5:00 p.m.
